The voice that came behind him set his nerves on fire. Though the pegasus who's name he had never known had changed in ways he wouldn't even be able to comprehend his voice had ghosted through his memories more than he cared for in the last year.

Despite the rage that bubbled in his gut, Jakub kept his cool as indifferent as he could on the outside. A tight smile plastered his face as he turned around, his large horns taking the lead as the rest of him followed to inspect the coward pegasus before him - the one horse he had stood against to protect the innocent and defenseless the pegasus wanted to rip apart for no other reason except that he could.

You are not who I was expecting. he said simply looking down at Wolfbane, his midnight eyes trailing over him in question. What is a Loessian doing roaming around such a quiet, peaceful, territory? he did all but refrain from hissing his question at the man. He could smell that Taiga clung to Wolfbane now, but the smell of Loess was still strong in the air. How long has he been in Taiga? He wonders.
