    COTY

    Assailant -- Year 226

    QOTY

"But the dream, the echo, slips from him as quickly as he had found it and as consciousness comes to him (a slap and not the gentle waves of oceanic tides), it dissolves entirely. His muscles relax as the cold claims him again, as the numbness sets in, and when his grey eyes open, there’s nothing but the faint after burn of a dream often trod and never remembered." --Brigade, written by Laura

    Stallion needing mares

His muscles rippled beneath his dappled black and white coat. His silky smooth mane flowed well below the bottom of his neck and dragged the ground even though he held his head high with pride. He glared out at the snickering mares eyeing each carefully as if he could read their minds. He trotted around the edge peering for a mare that didn't seem so... He couldn't place it.

He sighed and finally settled in a higher part of the ground so he could watch over the small area and waited for something to stick out. He took this time to admire the few pregnant mares, their roundness sending a delightful snort through his snout. He tucked his head in appreciatively toward his chest and pranced about.

'If I could only have them all...' He thought as he watched the small groups of horses.

She walked passed a few mares and up onto the higher ground to see the view better, not realizing that a stallion had already claimed the area, she lifted her head up and snorted is slight shock as she had never had to talk to another horse before, she tried to sneak up and stand not too close to the stallion so that he couldn't see her, but it was too late he had seen her.
