    She snickers at

    She quivers
    at not knowing 
    the answer. 

    She shifts,
    rolls,
    tucks her feet beneath her.

    With wobbly 
    foal like legs
    she lifts herself
    UP.
    Up,
    for a moment.

    Her knees 
    feel weak
    as they are
    about to
    buckle.

    She steadies
    herself on her
    slender limbs.
     UP.


    She forces her
    body up
    she forces it to 
    stay up.

    Sinew and 
    muscle strain
    to hold her there
    in place.
