    COTY

    Assailant -- Year 226

    QOTY

"But the dream, the echo, slips from him as quickly as he had found it and as consciousness comes to him (a slap and not the gentle waves of oceanic tides), it dissolves entirely. His muscles relax as the cold claims him again, as the numbness sets in, and when his grey eyes open, there’s nothing but the faint after burn of a dream often trod and never remembered." --Brigade, written by Laura

Your team won second, third, and fourth - prestigious, sure, but not the top. You didn't earn that. So I want you to run, child, run. Run back home and give up and play cards by yourself.

    One from one in three.

It this for I from 1 kingdom? or 1 from 1 herd?

    Assuming Kingdom?

Kingdom. Mares in herds can't steal from other herds and kingdoms can't steal from herds either, unless the target is in both. But then it still has to be via kingdom.

You still need to state herd or kingdom in your steal for a steal to be considered valid, even if there's an obvious assumption. So the three days will start from the time you added that it's a kingdom, not from the original steal.

"You must state how many horses you are attempting to steal, and also include whether you are stealing from a herd or a kingdom (for example, 2 from a kingdom). Steals without this will be considered invalid."

Padma from Tannor and Reap of the Gates. Success?

Your team won second, third, and fourth - prestigious, sure, but not the top.
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indian_hon...dma_awards
The Padma awards are part of India's civilian hours. The second, third, and fourth highest awards all start with 'Padma':
Padma Vibhushan — Second degree honour.
Padma Bhushan — Third degree honour.
Padma Shri — Fourth degree honour.

    You didn't earn that.
Earn is a synonym of reap, according to http://www.merriam-webster.com/thesaurus/reap

So I want you to run, child, run.
Tannor Wagner is a high school track and field athlete.

Run back home and give up and play cards by yourself.
Gate is a card game you play by yourself: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gate_(solitaire)

    Unsuccessful

The clues for Tannor and the Gates were too vague. I tried a variety of combinations in google with the clues and the names, but I couldn't pull up web results that would lead me to those conclusions. In addition, you would need to add an "s" to the clue for Gate, since Gates is the full kingdom name.
