    Assailant -- Year 226

    QOTY

"But the dream, the echo, slips from him as quickly as he had found it and as consciousness comes to him (a slap and not the gentle waves of oceanic tides), it dissolves entirely. His muscles relax as the cold claims him again, as the numbness sets in, and when his grey eyes open, there’s nothing but the faint after burn of a dream often trod and never remembered." --Brigade, written by Laura

Love is friendship set on fire ...
The older she got the easier it became to sneak away. With each passing day she became more rebellious too, slowly living up to the burning fire inside. She wasn’t the one to just sit back and calmly move along with life, to go in whichever way it would guide her. Instead, she was – or would be – one of those who stirred life up and caused the waves that others would follow. Igni didn’t really take after her parents in that way, although it was probably Brynmor’s passion that fuelled her fire too. But no, there wasn’t any room for her to set it free in the Tundra.

As a female the life in the Tundra was a bit boring, even if she was only a filly. Sure she had Argo and Australis and Nevi and Mari to play with, even her big brother Henson joined in from time to time, but she could always feel her father’s gaze upon her back. And he would surely tell her when she overstepped her boundaries. However, he wasn’t able to follow her to the playground and Igni had figured that here would be the right place to test her limits.

She wasn’t tall and never would be, but in the blue roan girl’s eyes that didn’t have to be a disadvantages. Instead, she would be faster and much more agile than those who were taller and heavier build. Not that her own build was that light, her bloodline was quite sturdy, but thus far she took after her mother in that area. Although she wasn’t as weak and limited as the bay roan mare. Oh yes, Igni loved her mother dearly, just as her father, but they just really seemed to tame to her. Roan was still sickish and tired all of the time and her father was just so stiff and formal all the time. And she just wanted to be free and adventurous and was just playful like any child. After all, that was only way for them to explore and learn, right?

The result was her loud whinny echoing across the playground. The call wasn’t an invitation to play, no it was a challenge. Finally, finally the little Tundra flame could do what she wanted and hopefully a child her age – and neither did Igni care if her opponent would be older – would respond to her challenge. It wouldn’t be a real fight, but a mock would probably do it justice. ”Come out, come out, wherever you are!”
    ... and it's a bloody battlefied.

OOC: Well of course not a real fight, but some soft of mock yes. Igni is one rebellious little thing xD
