    COTY

    Assailant -- Year 226

    QOTY

"But the dream, the echo, slips from him as quickly as he had found it and as consciousness comes to him (a slap and not the gentle waves of oceanic tides), it dissolves entirely. His muscles relax as the cold claims him again, as the numbness sets in, and when his grey eyes open, there’s nothing but the faint after burn of a dream often trod and never remembered." --Brigade, written by Laura

she had been walking for a while, trying to get to the open field and finally she was there.
she stared over the other mares and stallions that looked happy and content that they were here, she had never seen so many horses in one place in her life, but that didn't mean much as she hadn't really seen other horses at all up until now.

the view was stunning, the fog that lifted off of the damp grass as the horses chatted and played together, even though it was cold, the sunrise was the prettiest that Akilah had ever seen. not too long after, she decided to lay down as she wasn't used to the cold weather as the whole of her life she had been living in the desert, in the scorching sun, and even in the winter, it was still warmer than here even though it did get colder.

The bay and purple stallion found his way to the field, it was becoming a habbit of his, something he picked up from his father. Snow crunched underneath his every step, he looked around the field that was more quiet in the winter. Few were out and about, protecting there new foals growing in there stomachs, enjoying the company of there new found 'lovers'. He gave a snort and scanned the horizon looking for someone of interest to approach.

His eyes stopped on a stunning flaxen liver chestnut mare, she was petite in size and looked fragile. A smile curled on his lips and a whinny escaped as he made his way towards the mare. He stopped a couple paces away dipping his head Good morning, My name is Francois what can I call you? he asked moving closer, he trailed his muzzle from her shoulder down her spine before circling back to find her gaze.
