    COTY

    Assailant -- Year 226

    QOTY

"But the dream, the echo, slips from him as quickly as he had found it and as consciousness comes to him (a slap and not the gentle waves of oceanic tides), it dissolves entirely. His muscles relax as the cold claims him again, as the numbness sets in, and when his grey eyes open, there’s nothing but the faint after burn of a dream often trod and never remembered." --Brigade, written by Laura

    Heart
Trotting around in the lush grass, Akuma threw her head back and let out a loud whinny, I'm free at last. Pinning her ears back she came to a halt, feeling someone or something was watching her. She shook it off, imagining it must be her senses messing with her. Laying down, Akuma closed her eyes and began day-dreaming.

    Who cares if hell awaits?
We're having drinks at heaven's gate.

Maribel is absolutely enthralled with Spring. The birds are alive with song, the flowers brightly spattered across the field. Her blue eyes are drinking it all in as she moves across the field in search of new prospects.

It does not take long to notice a pretty mare enjoying the effects of warm sunlight on her back. With a bright smile on her lips and a e approaches the mare. "Hello there!" She chirps when he legs halt the motion of her gold form. "Hope to not disturb you but I'm Maribel and was wondering if you were possibly interested in a home?" The speech is short but to the point as she awaits a reply.

The bay mare opened her eyes to reveal her blue orbs. She looked up to see the beautiful palomino, only around a hand shorter than she was.
Shocked at the sudden offer she froze for a minute, thinking about the new possibilities the home could open up for her.
''Hello Maribel, I'm Akuma'' she started,
''Don't worry you didn't disturb me, and I will gladly accept your offer'' she replied eagerly.
She let out a long yawn and stood up, awaiting the mare's response.

"Fantastic!" The golden mare practically squeals. She loves when others give the Tundra a chance and are not put off by the name. Mari moves to that she can escort Akuma to her new home. Slender limbs move excitedly as blue eyes look to the mare's pretty face. 'Let us be off then!"

''Let's go then'' Akuma replied, a hint of happiness in her voice.
She took one last glance at the field, it's emerald green grass swaying in the gentle breeze.
She spun back found and began to follow Maribel.
