Little is known about Islandres, formerly known as the island resort, and the strange structures that dot its black beaches. The giant, wooden paint-peeling image of an Orca leaping out of water casts a long shadow over the dunes and the grass and often makes for a great conversation as horses try to decipher what it all means. Despite the oddities about this place, it is rather beautiful: black-sand beaches, crystal clear water and colorful palm trees swaying lazily in the breeze. It's the closest anyone could possibly come to paradise in Beqanna.
