    Trait Genetics

    The Basics:


    Each player may request “trait genetics” for their characters, and they will need to provide both genetic and non-genetic traits (or lack of) for their characters, their characters’ parents (at the time of their character’s conception), and their characters’ grandparents (at the time of their character’s parents’ conceptions) (parents are only required if your character was born in Beqanna). The officers will then give you the genetic code for your character. This code cannot be changed or altered, and anyone caught doing so will receive a warning.

    You must have genetic codes done here BEFORE posting for breeding stats. Without a genetics code for each parent, the Fairies will do a traditional roll for traits instead.

    Requesting Trait Genetics:


    Please check the Completed Trait Genetics thread, as your character may have already been done. Please do not request characters that have already been completed.

    Please note that trait genetics are not an exact science, and traits sometimes disappear. With so many generations on Beqanna, it is impossible to go all the way back and determine which traits your character has – we are limiting it to three generations. If you get the results for your character, and then later an ancestor of your character gets their results and they carry traits that were not rolled for your character, we will NOT reroll for your character. Consider it Beqanna magic, and a way to ensure the fairies don’t go insane

    When requesting trait genetics do NOT include kingdom granted traits, since those are not genetic. Also, please distinguish between quest-granted, genetic, and non-genetic traits, and make sure it is clear which horses are the parents and which are the grandparents. YOU MUST ALWAYS DIFFERENTIATE BETWEEN GENETIC AND NON-GENETIC TRAITS WHEN REQUESTING TRAIT GENETICS.

    You will need to start your own thread, and select the prefix “pending” so that we know to do your codes. Once completed, the officers will change the prefix to complete.
