My brother in law wrote this - Sid - 09-02-2018
It was a cold fall night. Not a creature was stirring, except Farquad the fairy horse. Frolicking through the tall dandelions like a picked cantaloupe, he galloped freely. Worry not did Farquad, as nothing dangerous had been in those woods for many centuries.
Farquad was nearing his favorite pooping meadow when he noticed a small, furry, what looked to be - frog. She decided that further investigation was warranted. As she neared, the hairy, frog-like creature began to grow. By the time FQ got within 20 feet, the figure grew to over 10 feet tall. It was a Pectofangagrowthopogus - which would most resemble an upside down piglet with two nipples on its hind quarters, a set of teeth in its ears and beetle head: needless to say, this was a dangerous creature.
Farquad was immediately consumed by the creature and thus ended the centuries of safety in the medow

I am mostly upset by the fact that Farquad changed genders mid-paragraph without a note on why that is so. Loved the name though.
