it's been awhile; a faerie please - Lior - 12-30-2018

From somewhere in the depths of a cave, the mountain of a black stallion lingers like a ghost of the past. Beqanna had been his home before the birth of many, during their lifetimes, and even after their deaths. He is a memorial to a land that had fallen and risen. The dark form pulls together to rise like the very plague that covers the land just beyond the mouth of the damp entrance.

Lior, joints creaking, stands with tangled and dreadlocked hair that falls over silver eyes and down his cheek. His expression is nothing more than a flat lipped grimace as the earth reeked of many scents that were foreign. The man missed the salt air of Nerine, he missed his children but most of all he missed his Iron Queen. Where had all the time gone? When he had been a young man, careless and stupid, he had been abused beyond imagination. He had grown to be a man, a Queensguard, a husband and a father.

The world was revolving and it would certainly bury him beneath soil and bone if he allowed it.

On this autumn day when the world glittered in ruby and gold, he treks the mountain with heavy hooves, deliberate as they plant, to seek a fairy. The time had come for the man to ask for all that he desired to fulfill his destiny and reclaim the family he had lost.

<b>"Faeries..."</b>, he began with a low gravely voice, <b>"I come to seek my full dragon shifting."</b> The man was no good for speaking. He was a creature of action, of heart. He hopes the faeries heed his plea and grant him the chance to become what his destiny foretold.
