Frankly, she hadn’t been home that much. Perhaps it was due to the fact that she had been drawn to Tephra for a while - to a friend so close he might be more in time if he wanted to, yet it never seemed to blossom into more. She was content just to be around his presence, to experience what he loved about Tephra so much - yet she already knew she would never come to live there. Something about it just didn’t befit her.

She’d shaken her head at the rumours she picked up in the Field and Meadow; spurring herself to the Mountain, subsequently to Loess as well. Now was the first time in weeks, in months, that she’d spent more than a half day in the Cove.

It still wasn’t the same thing as Hyaline, with everyone spread out over the two kingdoms.

Perhaps in time it would be more of a home. The moon on the pools and the silvery grass were things that appealed to her, yet reminded her of the lake and the snow-capped mountains at the same time.

Now, she’d finally allowed herself a day to really look at the place. In the distance, there were other horses, gathering perhaps for a midday meal. As an ambassador, she should probably join them, find out who they were and if they were more suited as diplomats, warriors, or both; but right now she was more focused on her task, contemplating if she was needed elsewhere, but where then? The sanctuary already was at peace with most other lands. Perhaps yet another tour across the lands, hopefully well before spring, to find out if two other places, or two horses, could benefit from mediation - she already knows her evening meeting with Adriell had resulted in new life, after all, so she’s on the clock.

And at that decision, she flicks away a late fly, ready to turn and leave if her stomach wouldn’t have protested right then. Shaking her head to herself, she instead bows down to the grass.
