She has heard of the mountain. Not outright, but its presence floats around Beqanna like a persistent fog. And so she climbs, se climbs up, up, up. There is a faint memory that sits with butterfly wings in the back of her mind. A memory of a camping trip with her father when she fell asleep imagining the stars were humming her a lullaby.
Elli summits, with a deep breath and a final planting of limbs onto the ground. She wonders if she stuck out her tongue if she would be able to taste the magic like she might taste snowflakes in the snow. “Hello?” She calls out. She wants to yell and cheer that she made it here, but Elliana is nothing if she is not composed. Others come here when they want something. What does she wants?
“I want to be closer to the world, to this world. Tell me how to do that?” She asks, wonders herself. If there has been one constant, it is the earth goes on into eternity—and there are stories to be found inside it.
