Jack’s patience has been tested with the twins. Aurora inspires him to be a better horse. To not hold so much hate and anger inside him. He makes his way back to the Mountain to speak with the fairies again to help him become better.

Something darker comes this time, sulfurous and malevolent, clinging to the remnants of magic that hang in the air. It finds him, and a slick, oily sensation settles over him and seeps into his skin. The very opposite of angelic - a demon. His hair falls away, revealing scales beneath, and he will find himself sowing anger where he goes.
