And breathe me; any - October - 09-04-2025
RE: And breathe me; any - Cascadia - 09-04-2025 Cascadia had been living here for a little while now, watching her young daughter grow up with others who weren't that much older than her had almost made the dangers they had gone through acceptable..... almost. She still hated that the filly's first few days on this earth had been one of danger, the buckskin and white mare having fought of every predator who saw her child as a easy meal. Wynters barely seemed to remember that time but Cascadia definitely did. It had made the mare want to keep her daughter close to keep her safe. Made it hard to allow her daughter to have a bit of freedom, even now she only allowed her out of the gates if she was with the twins, she knew the brother and sister duo would keep Wynters safe. She had been grazing when she heard the call, her head coming up, ears on a swivel to locate this unknown horse. Dark eyes spotted the buckskin mare, slight hesitation as she wasn't use to strangers before she stopped forward, offering a gentle whicker in greeting. She didn't know this mare but that didn't really mean much, there would be plenty of Viszla's family she didn't know who she suspected would pop home once in a while. Hello she said when the pair were only a few feet from each other. RE: And breathe me; any - October - 09-08-2025
@Cascadia I’m so sorry I don’t know your discord name or I would have reached out sooner ♥️ RE: And breathe me; any - Cascadia - 09-22-2025 OOC: Just to amend Cascadia is on her own, her daughter is off somewhere else) The painted mare smiled at the unknown mare who seemed rather excited to meet someone here. Cascadia could understand that, The Gates was reasonable quite when the youngsters were off exploring. She enjoyed the peace most of the time, especially compared to life before she had gotten here. She nods lightly when the mare offers her name before returning the greeting with her own Cascadia, it's nice to meet you October. This mare seemed friendly and she hadn't really met many other since she had been here. She didn't feel like an outcast or anything but she was still trying to find out who she was. It was an odd concept for her when she'd spent so long simply being a mother, one who was struggling a little with letting her young fly the nest so to speak. She had slowly begun to cut those metaphorical ties, the ones that wanted to keep her daughter close and away from harm forever. This mare, October, seemed familiar with the lands, but more in a distant traveller returning sort of way, something the mare confirmed a heartbeat later. Chatting to another was offering a good distraction for her, especially whilst her child was off exploring with the twins. There are a few she says in response to her question the land is still pretty quiet however so possibly not quite as you remember it she continues myself and my daughter have been here a few years now she smiles, remember how young Wynters was when they first arrived, and how Viszla had taken the frightened young mother in with her exhausted foal. How long has it been since you were last here? She asks, curious of this mares story and how different The Gates may look now. @ |
