Homeward Bound (Hurricane, Offspring, Any, Joining Tundra) - Sindor Aura - 04-08-2016 @[Hurricane] @[Offspring] From the thread, 'Forgetting the Past I once knew', I make this thread with Hurricane leading Sindor to the Tundra to rest and possibly join the herd as well. Alot of travel meant a large amount of strain on the sore bones of the stallion. Sindor didn't complain too much about the pain, but his foggy eyes could tell a truthful story of that slow trot along the unfamiliar land. The sights, although badly misshapen and blurry to him still, were long grass lands with flowers, and what looked like distant clusters of forests scattered about. If his eye sight was better, perhaps he could see more than what his poor sight could tell. His breathing helped no better. With the open wounds scattered on his body, the heart had to pump extra blood to flow through what was needed to stay up. Sindor would feel terrible over the few times they had to stop for him to catch his breath and not completely faint, in fear of breaking a leg or worse. Sindor turned his neck slowly to look to Hurricane, the other stallion who had lead him all the way here. "What is this place? Is it your home?" He asked, voice still a bit course and dry. RE: Homeward Bound (Hurricane, Offspring, Any, Joining Tundra) - Hurricane - 04-09-2016 After the darker stallion had agreed to accompany him to his home, he wasted no time in leading the way. He keeps his pace slow and steady, mindful of the other man’s exhaustion and injured state, pausing when the other man needs a short breather. He had long since grown accustomed to flying the distance from his home to the field, so walking is a rather novel experience. But it is not one he minds. It is always good to see the world through the trees once in a while. Were it possible, he would have made the journey shorter for Sindor. As it is, it’s perhaps fortunate that the journey is relatively short when compared to most other places on might travel from the Tundra. In short order, the massive ice wall bordering the southern edge of the kingdom is looming before them. He leads the other man unerringly towards the small opening, passing through into the summer-kissed plains of his home. When finally they come to a halt, the sparse vegetation and scrubby brush of the Tundra extending before them, he turns to face the other stallion. Sindor’s voice is dry and scratchy when he speaks, questioning where they are. Hurricane nods, affirming their location. ”This is the Tundra, my home.” He pauses to glance around the familiar landscape, taking in the looming wall of ice, the hardy flowers blooming amongst the early summer grasses, and the hills containing the ruins and caves erupting into the skyline in the distance. ”You will be safe here. The wall protects us, as do the Brothers standing watch.” He among them. When not in the field, he could most often be found in the skies, patrolling his home. Even now, the call of the sky is a lure singing his name. But for the sake of the newcomer, he would resist for the time being. There is never a day that goes by that is a good day to die. Hurricane ![]() RE: Homeward Bound (Hurricane, Offspring, Any, Joining Tundra) - Brynmor - 04-12-2016 ![]() Brynmor "With my speechless calm eyes." He sees the pair entering through the sole gate in the ice wall that is the Tundra’s whole southern border. Black and white. Brynmor’s lips twitch into a pleasant smile as the sight brings up good memories. Once the white winged stallion had lead him into the Tundra, in a comparable state. The graying male hadn’t been injured like this dark male was, but he too hadn’t been in any condition to hurry. He had been broken, just a shell without existence. But the Tundra had fixed him, and if this stranger wanted it too, she could do the same for him. "Nothing is coming to rise." OOC: So, since Krys is away because of her wedding and honeymoon Offy left Bryn in charge while he's away on kingdom business. So I figured I should have Bryn reply here instead of Offy
