Amenadiel's warm smile lit up his face as he nodded to Eviction, giving him the signal to come closer. "Yes, Escence, there is a baby in there," he confirmed softly.
The egg swayed gently, almost as if in response to Escence, as if to affirm its lively presence within.
With a soft smile, he expressed his trust, "I believe both of you will take excellent care of him or her," casting a glance at them, noticing their wide-eyed curiosity and bubbling excitement. "It should be hatching soon."
The starry mare turned to him, her expression radiating happiness. "Congratulations, Amenadiel. I'm certain it will be in good hands with these two looking after it," her gentle, pale hue blending with the emerald glow of the egg before her.
As Crucis responded to Escence, flicking her ear toward them, Amenadiel listened with interest, "To answer your earlier question, no, I do not have kids. I would like kids at some point," she confessed, a smile spreading across her face as she noticed the filly's excitement at the idea of more young ones to play with. Amenadiel chuckled, "You sure will have your hooves full with all these babies around."
Amenadiel gazed out of the cave, watching the sun beginning its descent. "We should start heading back so your mom doesn’t worry about you two," he said, gently nuzzling their backs.
As Crucis turned to leave the cave, followed by the twins and then by Amenadiel, he turned back to the egg, taking in the pulsing glow that illuminated its nest before leading the group back to the lake.
