A tendril of blue flits through her yellow-green haze and surprise builds in his eyes as she tells him that she can't see the colors surrounding her. He’s never heard of such a thing before, but then again, his limited interactions probably don't make for a comprehensive representation of magical abilities.
His eyes follow the path that hers take, observing the flowers at her breast and the green flames that swirl languidly in the background. As she speaks, he notices that the tongues of grey have shown up again—first in short, thin ribbons, eventually weaving quite thickly through the brighter yellow and green (which he realizes have not changed much, if at all, since he first spotted her).
He glances up just in time to catch her soft smile as it spreads, her grey eyes as they find his. It does make sense when she suggests that only he can see the mysterious colors. She doesn't seem like the type to lie for her own amusement.
When she asks him to describe what he sees, he pauses for a while, trying to find words that could do them justice. As she speaks, a pink hue pulses in her aura once more, and he notices that the grey streaks have begun to recede. How can he possibly explain something he doesn't even understand?
He refocuses on her face, doubt written on his own as he draws in a hesitant breath, “Umm… there's this extra glowiness around you and it keeps changing colors. Well, not entirely—it always has this bright green color around the edges, but it's kinda more yellow toward the middle. But there's other colors that sometimes show up too.” His voice trails off toward the end of his sentence and he starts watching her aura again, waiting to see if it changes again.
