    Assailant -- Year 226

    QOTY

"But the dream, the echo, slips from him as quickly as he had found it and as consciousness comes to him (a slap and not the gentle waves of oceanic tides), it dissolves entirely. His muscles relax as the cold claims him again, as the numbness sets in, and when his grey eyes open, there’s nothing but the faint after burn of a dream often trod and never remembered." --Brigade, written by Laura

He pins his ears. This was her warning, she needed to settle down and stop throwing a fit. They had just arrived, and already she was making her demands. His lips curve into a sick sort of smile when she keeps going. So he is now homosexual, AND a womanizer all roled into one, how amusing that would be. if it were are all possible to begin with. Maybe he should show her just what a real womanizer would do.

She tells him how to act, so really who's the bossy bitch? If anything she would need to be put in her place. He stomps his hoof, giving her another warning. The stallion has patience maybe she would see his kindness in the lack of violence that he displaces. She talks of leaving, but that really wasn't her choice now was it? After all she had already accepted his invitation, now in all technechality she DID belong to him. The fairies that cared for beqanna would be on his side in this. Of that he is certain.

She begins to walk away. Did she realize that she is dealing with a soldier? One trained for combat? That his sole desire in life is to battle on the feilds and plains with others that are like minded. Did she realize that his lack of interest in sexual interaction was deeply rooted in this. Did she realize just how much of a gentleman he was being?

After all wouldn't most stallions cut her off before she could finish and show her her place? But no he gives her room to speak, he gives her warnings to shut her mouth. He lets her vent and get her frustrations out. That didn't mean that he was going to put up with it either. So in a low growl his eyes take on a sharpness and a dirrectness that he uses when his muscles coil and prep for battle. Is this what she wanted to see? Did she want to see the kiler that he is? That he revels and enjoys being? We just met. He says it as she begins walking away.

Could she really expect him to love her the second they meet? He is in all practicality offering her a home, he is offering her the ability to go where she desires. She is welcome to come and go as she wishes. Could she really ask for more? She was protected as protected can be. She had all the rights that she could possibly disire, but its not enough? He must love her, and worship her as well? That was crossing a line. He had his own will and would keep it as such. No one would break him in that way.

So he extends his wings taking off, to find the creek across the land that he could now call his. Calling out to her You are welcome to stay. What she chose to do was her own business. She could hide out in the forest for all he cared. She wanted his emotions, well she would have to show him that she was worthy first. After all they didnt know each other at all.
