But the night fades away and gives way to the day
Draconis nods, listening to Rhy, but finds herself unable to suppress a giggle over the idea that it is now her turn to Seek. She had managed to play-scare her guardian, as well, and that also adds to her cheerfulness. Had she accidentally hurt the electric mare by managing to collide with her, that would have been a different story, but since they were both fine, it was just another part of their fun. The firebaby squints her eyes shut, loudly counting to ten as instructed. It's lucky for Rhy and Naga that ten is all that is required, for if the filly had to count for minutes, she would have given in to the impulse to peek one eye open and see where one or both of the mares are headed. When she does reach the required number, she opens her eyes and looks around the verdant landscape, attempting to suss out where her targets had gone. Rhy said that she was going to fit right in here, in the Jungle, and the filly tells herself that now is the time to go with that idea. Draconis pauses for a moment, before deciding to try and find Rhy first, then seek out Naga's hiding spot.
She lowers her gaze to the Jungle terrain, trying to see if there's any hoofprints. Blissfully unaware of Rhy's lioness shifting ability, when she does locate hoofmarks leading off in one of the half-visible pathways, she is puzzled when they come to an abrupt end, leaving the trail cold. The star-blanketed girl pauses, looking this way and that. Rhy had come this way, she is sure of it. What had happened? She looks upward, towards the trees, but sees nothing out of the ordinary. Which would have left her very surprised if the mare *had* somehow been perched up there. Horses weren't really known for their tree-climbing skills, after all. Her little face wrinkles up with thought as she scours the underbrush around her, and with a determined grunt she decides to do this the hard way: sticking her muzzle down into each and every bush. She was going to find Rhy, no matter how she had to go about it. After several disappointments, she is overjoyed to find herself nose to nose with the gold and white mare. She's not quite sure how she managed to wriggle her way into this tightly-grown thicket, but isn't worried about that in the long run. The main thing was that she had found her! "Gotcha!", she cries out, pounding her front hooves with excitement. "You are really good at hiding, Rhy! "
