    COTY

    Assailant -- Year 226

    QOTY

"But the dream, the echo, slips from him as quickly as he had found it and as consciousness comes to him (a slap and not the gentle waves of oceanic tides), it dissolves entirely. His muscles relax as the cold claims him again, as the numbness sets in, and when his grey eyes open, there’s nothing but the faint after burn of a dream often trod and never remembered." --Brigade, written by Laura

to live in a dream is to live with ambition
The stallion was relieved when the mare began to slow, happy that he hadn't frightened or seemed to put her off. When she came to a stop so did he, and he stood facing her, only a few feet away.

"I'd like to speak with you about finding a home," he said smoothly. "As it is, I'd like to invite you to mine. Your beautiful coat will certainly add to its variety. If you like sandy beaches, sun, green grass and water, you will be very satisfied in my homeland."

Hasenel then bowed his head to the mare before lifting it again, showing that he would respect her choice, whether it lay with him or not. But he hoped it would. "May I have your name?" he added curiously.
