    Assailant -- Year 226

    QOTY

"But the dream, the echo, slips from him as quickly as he had found it and as consciousness comes to him (a slap and not the gentle waves of oceanic tides), it dissolves entirely. His muscles relax as the cold claims him again, as the numbness sets in, and when his grey eyes open, there’s nothing but the faint after burn of a dream often trod and never remembered." --Brigade, written by Laura

Winter had pushed into the diverse war-torn lands, and the cold gusting air only further perpetuated the dismal feeling. Though on further thought, it was probably just the lanky blood bay's personification of his torn feelings onto the landscape. He never particularly liked the winter, and to be honest, the field was never really part of the war so it had recovered in the time since. What had it been now A year? a little more? It had been a long time since he worried about the new king's reaction to his spying for gates, and he had proven himself a worthy member of Chamber, earning a kingdom trait in the last month. He had played with it some during the hours alone in the pine forest that was his home. Cloaking himself in a vastness that was invisibility. He listened in to some of her fellow Chamberlings' conversations moving as close as he dared without being detected by sound. It was a fun trait and he hoped it could help him further grow the kingdom he had learned to call home.

So the reddish stallion stood in the field, completely blended into the surrounding areas he was just another area of thick snow. The only thing that would give him away was if someone heard the slight crunch of snow or if they looked closely and noticed the small changes to the already trodden white ground. He would show himself soon enough, in a gregarious attempt to convince others that the new Chamber was the place to put down roots. It was something that he truly believed in, and he worked hard to bring it to fruition. Steeled eyes scanned the chilled field in hopes of finding an unaccompanied mare or stallion, he so hated that odd group conversation as the recruiters danced an intricate waltz. It was not appropriate to be straight out rude, but you want to deter the recruitee from going with the other, as the same time show your kingdom's virtue. It was annoying and tiresome, but necessary. Nymph had just about given up of the hunt but a flash of movement caught his eye. A pale mare moved to a sound hill or mound rather in the distance. Except she was joined by another nearly immediately.

The necromancer decided it was a good an opportunity as ever and set off, ready to put his bets foot forward, for himself, and his kingdom. The blood bay (not that anyone here could see that) moved slowly, as he tried to keep his hoof falls in the tracks that already existed. He stopped just outside their conversation and listened to the other stallion introduce himself, and he slowly inched closer. He wished for some fun so he moved to the stallion, and lifted his head and blew in the other's ear He jumped back and unfurled himself from his invisible cloak, with a bit of flair.

From the conjurer's slightly further bach position he slightly dipped his dark tipped muzzle in greeting, and signaled his intent to join the conversation and he moved a few steps closer, just to not have to talk loudly at the group. He made sure to leave the other stallion, Archam,a bit of a wide birth in case he didn't enjoy a little light hearted jest. " Well hello, I'm Nymphetamine, of the Kingdom, Chamber, I hate to butt into a conversation I just couldn't help but notice how you might just need rescuing. Or did I make up that up out of a daydream?" He smiled, a big goofy grin, his new trait had him in a rather good mood. He looked from stallion to mare, gauging their reaction and await the mare's reply.

    Nymphetamine

in my heart, that barless prison
    discolours all with tunnel vision
