    COTY

    Assailant -- Year 226

    QOTY

"But the dream, the echo, slips from him as quickly as he had found it and as consciousness comes to him (a slap and not the gentle waves of oceanic tides), it dissolves entirely. His muscles relax as the cold claims him again, as the numbness sets in, and when his grey eyes open, there’s nothing but the faint after burn of a dream often trod and never remembered." --Brigade, written by Laura

    With my speechless calm eyes,
    nothing is coming to rise.

He had watched her leave the field with Nymphetamine and now he’s the first one to greet her. She’s home, finally she’s back home again. When he had approached her in the field he had known who she was, without actually having met her, and that had been mutual. He had known Xiah had been living in the Tundra, prior going to the field. The chance that she would once again pick the Tundra had been small, but Brynmor had wanted her to know that the Tundra would always be her home. If she wanted it to be. And now, now she’s back.

The gray stallion – lighter now than when they had last met – hurries towards the border, where she would still linger. Normally he could be quite a pain in the ass when it came to crossing borders without invitation, but for her he makes an exception, of course. ”Xiah.” He says nothing more than her name, before coming to a halt near the floating mare. She looks like he remembers her, maybe a bit older and wiser by now, but she still is the girl she was back then.

He cannot help but to look at her with a grin, ear tipped forward. ”It’s good to see you back home” he tells he as his grin grows wider. He’s not only happy to see the long lost princess back, but he honestly is thrilled about the good news he could bring her. Brynmor still isn’t sure if it was the right thing to do, but it was Offsprings call and the Tundra surely was more active now. ”Do you still desire a place among the Tundra’s ranks, Xiah?”
