"But the dream, the echo, slips from him as quickly as he had found it and as consciousness comes to him (a slap and not the gentle waves of oceanic tides), it dissolves entirely. His muscles relax as the cold claims him again, as the numbness sets in, and when his grey eyes open, there’s nothing but the faint after burn of a dream often trod and never remembered." --Brigade, written by Laura

The star that shines so bright [birthing] - Andras, Porcia

It was weird to not have Romek around, he was his closest friend, his father figure, only to vanish from the lands. He felt like a failure, unable to provide a home for his family, they could stay in Taiga but Gyps loved to fly, and Taiga restricted her from doing so.

He shook his head(that had his pearl colored horn again) erasing the thoughts from his head, Gyps was due anyday now! He was so excited to see the foal they created, to share the love he has with another equine. In fact he was looking for Gyps in the wooded forest, they often spent spare time here, without a land to belong to after all. He did not want to miss the birthing, but he was out ensuring the safety of there family.

He caught the scent of Gyps, she wasn't alone, did she give birth already? He broke into a spring, galloping as fast as his legs would allow him Gyps! he yelled out, weaving in and around the trees that were in his way. Finally, a small opening where he spotted Gyps who stands over a black spotted foal beside her. He slid to a halt and a smile grew to his face, he extended his neck to nuzzle the sweaty Gyps I'm sorry I wasn't here with you his love only grew for the mare who birthed there foal,  His gaze turned to the foal, who was a filly, he gave a nuzzle to her Porcia as they spoke of before. Shes perfect he said smiling, flicking his gaze between the two.
