Lucrezia has always sought quite the opposite than the red dun mare. She has sought out unfamiliar places because her heart yearned for adventure and her mind thirsted for knowledge of the world. At one point it had been quite addicting for her to know and see everything and all. And she has never been so thankful for having such a curious nature as she has learned so much and continues to do so.
As for anxiety, Lucrezia has experienced it at one time not so long ago. The world had changed and she had lost a majority of those she had loved and a place she had called home. She had not known which way to go and what to do with her self. A part of her had been taken away and vanished with the rest of the world, especially when the flood came and drowned her sandy home.
She had to rebuild herself and learn to fill the empty places within her heart. It had been a hard task and a lot of self-coaching, but she had been one of the lucky ones. Lucrezia had found a new friend and new home thanks to him. Magnus then became a dear friend and so did the land of Tephra.
Maybe that is another reason why she comes to this place so often. She wants to help others find their own place in this new emerging world. It could be a scary place, she admitted. And no one deserved to walk it alone.
Lucrezia feels the gentle breeze of the wind push against her. It pushes her mane and tail, feathers dancing with the wind as well. However, her attention to the mare does not falter away. Her smile widens when the red dun greets her back. She notices the stammer but simply does not say anything about it.
“It’s nice to meet you as well, Catlin.” She responds back and allows herself to fall into a comfortable position as the other mare directs another question at her. “Homeless?” Her smile widens. “No, not anymore.” Tephra was here home, her forever home. “Are you? Is that why you are here?” She did not want to make the mistake that this might be another recruiter from another land. Lucrezia had done that before and it was an easy mistake to make considering all the new faces in Beqanna these days.
