The Fairies loved their children, despite what some might whisper.
They wanted them to prosper. They cried when they cried, they celebrated their victories, they mourned their dead. To the Fairies they were Beqanna, and Beqanna was them.
So when their children spoke, they listened.
The latest events in Ischia told the Fairies something very important: it was time to let them explore their new land.
Fully.
Totally.
With no interruptions.
So the Fairies appeared across the land at once to tell them all to go North if they wished to see something more. Other lands. Other places.
They needed more room, it seemed, and they could claim that room as they wished.
The Fairies also knew the lands are fickle, and the Earth was still too new to fully settle. They knew that some of these lands would cease to exist, or they'd merge together to create something new. Something grand. Something their children could call their own.
So the Fairies open their hearts and guide their children North - if they wish - for the future.
OOC: All the lands are now open for exploring/claiming! No need for petitions, or even a certain amount of horses to claim a land. Hell, you can just set up shop and call it your own. We also understand there's no way all these lands will be played, so at the end of the month (April) we'll narrow it down to the most active. The rest can either mesh into each other, or just stand empty as an outside land to play but never own. Happy claiming!
FAQ -
Naming lands: You can discuss this if you want, but the naming probably won't happen until the final lands have been decided. That way you're not wasting energy/muse/etc. trying to think up a name for a kingdom/land that won't exist.
Petitioning: No need to petition, no need to have x amount of players/points - this is kinda a free for all. We're considering the activity by the end of the time period to be a form of petitioning/points, if that makes sense.
Kingdom or Herd?: As you've already realized, we don't care how the new lands are run. If you'd like to have it some sort of land for herds to exist without an overall leader, that's fantastic. If you want it to be a nomadic land for anyone to come through, knock yourself out. Have a clear vision is all we ask.
What happens to the non-approved lands?: Depends on the land and how it's used during the 6 BQ months. Was it like The Valley (temporary land for herds to gather) used to be? Or did no one touch it during those 6 months, making it empty to be eaten by the sea? So exciting.
