if there's a light at the end, it's just the sun in your eyes
Rarely does Amet trek to the Field, except when Autumn falls across Beqanna. The foliage in Hyaline had begun to turn recently, changing from their vibrant reds and purples to more diluted and neutral tones, indicating to Amet that it is time to travel to the meeting grounds to offer a home to anyone who may be facing the struggle of spending winter outside of a secure home. And, considering that he is leaving Tephra today, he has a need to travel through the Field on his way home, so it's only logical to spend a little extra time there to see if he can be of any assistance.
The long grasses, usually a vibrant green but now nearly a grain color, sweep across his leather-plated legs and underbelly, tickling as he meanders. The Akhal-Teke stallion lets his gaze drift over the gentle contours of the Field until they rest upon a liver chestnut mare, standing in repose towards the center of the billowing grass clearing. Amet turns his narrow frame in her direction, his hooves beating rhythmically against the soft ground as he moves. His dragon scales glimmer in the sun, all fire and sunshine and gold.
When he finally does reach her, the Dragon King nickers politely to announce his arrival and gives the chestnut lady a pleasant smile. His ears turn forward, nestled in a bed of tangled mane, as he lowers his head in greeting. "Hello there, miss. Welcome to Beqanna," he assumes that she is new to their lands, as his flared nostrils do not recognize the scents that permeate from her, "I apologize for disturbing you."
