i have specific pandora stations for each character. some (like ivar) have two stations that i switch between based on the situation. i sometimes get a lot of muse from watching shows, though i try not to base characters off them because i always end up wanting to do something different.
i also tend to drink and write and smoke and write, so those are also helpful when i'm experiencing a muse block.
