    Assailant -- Year 226

    QOTY

"But the dream, the echo, slips from him as quickly as he had found it and as consciousness comes to him (a slap and not the gentle waves of oceanic tides), it dissolves entirely. His muscles relax as the cold claims him again, as the numbness sets in, and when his grey eyes open, there’s nothing but the faint after burn of a dream often trod and never remembered." --Brigade, written by Laura

    Kyveli
Kyveli is in fact, more often than not found between the islands, and her mother is right to call for her there first. This time, she's planning (for a second time) to make a trek around the largest island for real, not to be held up by a blind colt in a cove for once. But again, fate is against her, because Kylin calls for her.

She debates for a short moment if she should just run and pretend not to hear her, as teenagers often would - but she caves, and dances around the waves with a ballet-dancer's grace, practised in this skill for a year now, almost. "Coming!"

She starts into a race then, and comes to a sliding stop near the beach (she doesn't want to stop in the sand), sending a wave of water forward to her mother, the filly giggling as she showers the lavender tobiano mare with sea foam. "At your service." she says playfully.

Then, she looks around, expecting her to ask if she can watch Kypria, but does not see her baby sister. "Where's Kyp?"
I only wanted to one time see you laughing
    in the purple rain

@[Kylin] I guess I made you wait in return Tongue
