    Assailant -- Year 226

    QOTY

"But the dream, the echo, slips from him as quickly as he had found it and as consciousness comes to him (a slap and not the gentle waves of oceanic tides), it dissolves entirely. His muscles relax as the cold claims him again, as the numbness sets in, and when his grey eyes open, there’s nothing but the faint after burn of a dream often trod and never remembered." --Brigade, written by Laura

and the superstars sucked into the supermassive
Since announcing to lead the island, Leilan unfortunately hadn't seen many show up yet; not entirely sure if anyone wants to stay or go back to Nerine. Well, with the exception of Jesper, of course - and Aziz, a man he'd brought here himself. So that's one thin he needs to ask the great white, he thinks; before going on to the next question.

He grins at the white stud's greeting and mentions a crown, and so, the roan gives him a bit of a wry-smiling shrug at his question. "Many things and none at the same time, though I think that doesn't make me wise yet. But, to be specific, I was hoping you'd stay with us here, and keep providing us with your wisdom. I've been thinking Icicle Isle doesn't need many ranks or a lot of structure, with it being an extension of Nerine, but one can't be skilled in everything." Having another around who'd already held a title of importance in Nerine, perhaps he'd be up for keeping that up together with something new - it practically the same thing, after all.
