    Assailant -- Year 226

    QOTY

"But the dream, the echo, slips from him as quickly as he had found it and as consciousness comes to him (a slap and not the gentle waves of oceanic tides), it dissolves entirely. His muscles relax as the cold claims him again, as the numbness sets in, and when his grey eyes open, there’s nothing but the faint after burn of a dream often trod and never remembered." --Brigade, written by Laura

The road is long, but it always unwinds // Mary

It was finally Autumn, Mary's favorite season in Sylva. It was still early but the treetops started to change colors, soon a perfect mesh of red yellow and orange would be all to find.

She normally could not stand being in the same place for long, finding herself venturing out of Sylva often. Though she always finds herself nestling into her home during autumn, and this season was no different.

It does not come to a shock when she picks up the scent of another.....Silver Cove? She wonders, Valdis has links to the Cove so perhaps it is her family. Then she ponders the idea of the Cove lashing out due to the Southern kingdoms recent steal of there territory leader.

None the less, a scent she could not avoid, her delicate body carries her towards the scent. The Cove intermingling with the smell of sap that has grown to be her favorite smell.

Hello? the call from a stranger pierces through her ears. And as her eyes scanned the horizon she could not find the equine through the thick of the foliage. She makes her way to the border as any poltical equine would wait there. As her suspicions and hopes would have it, A pale but brightly colored stallion stands waiting.

Her gaze settles on him for a moment, the splash of color in his mane and tail was perfectly blended into her autumn home. She approaches him, stopping before him, Hello stranger, her voice was delicate. She moves closer to him, her maw touches the striking red that lays across his neck, she generally didn't care for personal boundaries, and this was no different.

Her pelt flicks to one similar to his own, with a matching red line across her neck. With a grin she finds her spot back before him, Interesting color, matches my home. She speaks allowing her eyes to wonder around the colorful trees before finding his gaze once more. The name is Mary, and you are? She inquires, she is generally friendly, but never let her guard down for a potential attack.
