    Assailant -- Year 226

    QOTY

"But the dream, the echo, slips from him as quickly as he had found it and as consciousness comes to him (a slap and not the gentle waves of oceanic tides), it dissolves entirely. His muscles relax as the cold claims him again, as the numbness sets in, and when his grey eyes open, there’s nothing but the faint after burn of a dream often trod and never remembered." --Brigade, written by Laura

Where The Wild Things Are; Naga
    #2
    breaking waves of change
Queens come and go, kingdoms change and grow, and thus, Nerine did the same. Naga was changing too, slowly working toward becoming her old saucy self again. She needed to remember her youth. The reason why she had become a sister in the first place. As her mind reeled, she walked along the edges of the ebony sand beach, looking for signs of life, though so far none could be seen. As she continued forth, making her way toward the trees, the sound of heavy paws hitting the sand in a fast manor she turned quick to face the sound, her ears flattened against her sun bleached mane. A lion sprinted straight for her...she got on her haunches and let out a challenging equine roar, though soon she realized this was no challenger. It was Celeana. Naga's green eyes widened as her once spotted equine woman, now a sleek lioness, sat like a cat on her hind haunches and exclaimed confusedly to her.

Naga couldn't help but laugh, she let her muzzle rub just under Celeana's chin comfortingly. Her words are loving and playful, her tone very different from when Celeana had spoken to her last. Celeana didn't know the old, playful and fierce Naga, she knew the sullen, sad Naga. This was raw Naga.

"Celeana, my love! It's ok!! You are ok. My dear, you have shape shifted, like I do. You are a lioness...a very beautiful one at that!

She lets her last words get flirty and playful in tone as she shifts into her sleek, black feline form as to better let the lioness feel more comfortable. Naga walks around her playfully, letting her long black tail curl and trail along Celeana's light tan throat, before coming back around to sit beside her.

"I am not sure what triggered you to shift, but when I first shifted into this form, it was out of fear. Usually your first time shifting is triggered by a strong emotion. What were you thinking about before you felt yourself change?"

She is a bit more serious now, though she did let her tail wander to find Celeana's to "hold". She was like a damned love struck middle schooler. But, it was cute, kinda cheesy, but cute. She had not felt like this in a long, LONG time. She never got to spend this much time with Ashara, though she wished she could have. But, Naga is thankful, now she had Celeana...a woman so perfectly suited to her it scared her. Especially now that she can shift into a large cat as well. What a pair these two are....two large predatory cats sitting on a black sand beach. The crashing waves behind them and a cotton candy sky framed them perfectly. Hopefully Naga could teach her companion how to better control her shifting and how to do it on command. It was hard for her at first too, it had been so long that she had forgotten what it was like to not shift so smoothly and naturally. Poor Celeana must be so confused.
