It's finally summer again in Hyaline, feeling the air with nearly overwhelming scents of wisteria and cherry blossoms. Amet is in love with it, this place that never makes him think of the Dunes, or Shalla, or Him. It's the only home he has ever known.

The sun is particularly warm today and there are no clouds to offer reprieve. Fortunately for them, the foliage of Hyaline is thick in some parts, where the red maples and wisteria all fold together into tight patches. It's cool in the shade, at least, beneath Amet's favorite wisteria, that sits comfortably next to the lake on its east side. A quiet breeze, save only for the occasional rustle of branches and ebb of the lakeside, further cools the dragon-scaled stallion.

His amber eyes rove the crystalline water from beneath the boughs. The ducks still swim idly across the smooth surface and his gaze follows them for a few moments before deciding that today is as good as any, to see who they have acquired in Hyaline. The gilded Akhal-Teke steps closer to the lake, until the water laps at his hocks, and he extends his neck to call loudly through the open air. He pivots to face the shoreline, bright eyes roving the trees as he waits for any of Hyaline's residents to find him.
