    COTY

    Assailant -- Year 226

    QOTY

"But the dream, the echo, slips from him as quickly as he had found it and as consciousness comes to him (a slap and not the gentle waves of oceanic tides), it dissolves entirely. His muscles relax as the cold claims him again, as the numbness sets in, and when his grey eyes open, there’s nothing but the faint after burn of a dream often trod and never remembered." --Brigade, written by Laura

Warrick spoke next instead of Offspring again, telling Sirana that she was free to stay here as a resident or possibly do more. Recognizing that this place probably had a caste system, ranks that the horses held, Sirana was highly pleased at being able to pull her own weight around here. She didn't want to be seen as a useless horse that couldn't provide for herself. She could most definitely, even though the former herd stallion of hers tried doing it all for her. Not being able to protect herself since she didn't get the chance to chase away any enemies left the mare feeling powerless.

Now, she could get it back.

Sirana smiled at Offspring, holding her head up high to express her pride, "If you would accept me into the ranks of your kingdom, I would be happy to show what I can do. I was trained by my mother in matters of diplomacy, and I learned fighting skills from the head warrior in my former kingdom. I am capable of performing either task for the Tephra should the need arise," she explained.
