Nymphetamine

Diplomacy. Usually, it was the act of keeping the peace, through talks, through negotiation, through battles won by wit and strategy. But today it seemed it would be peace kept through a different form. For Nymphetamine had positioned hiself along the channel that seperated tephra from the mainland. There was frankly not much to see trees, black sand, ash, water. There were a few that came and left, a few that lingered about but it was quiet. That was until she came through. A whirl of black rushed through the borderlands. The black whirl didn’t slow down or call out to any for help or warning. Just whoosh. A sigh escaped his lips, he turned and charged after her, his thoughts a lack luster “wait, stop.” But to be honest this intrusion was a well-welcomed interlude from the rather serene scene that was shrinking away in the distance. The mare continued before him, for while she was fast, so was he. 

His blood coursed with the lines of 2 desert racers and he covered the distance with ease, his boy used to the heat and his muscled primed from the recent trips across Beqanna and up and down the Volcano. So he closed the distance as the mare stopped infront of the two Tephrans- a mare and a stallion.He didn’t know either and he didn’t catch their conversation, he didn’t care to either. But before He could stop, before he had the opportunity to speak the white mare bolted away, screaming as we did so. She tripped however and crashed head over heels before coming to a standstill in the dirt. Not moving.  Anger and concern flaired through him. If he hadn't known better he would have got straight for the black mare’s throat as he watched the dark stallion race after her. 

Nymphetamine pulled to a stop abruptly, as he narrowly curved around her,  out of range from the intruder's limbs, but it made a physical barrier between her and the downed mare and concerned lover-friend-whatever. Nymph snorted and stamped his left front hoof angrily at the ground. His stand wide, and defensive, protective as he had no clue her purpose here.His voice boomed out deep and authoritative,  first to the dark bay stallion then to the black mare, ”You need to leave. Now. Or else explain what urgent business had you blow past our border and ignore Beqanna’s border laws. I’ll give you to the count of three.”  He wasn’t angry, well he was, but his anger was contained, for now. He simply looked at her, expecting a response. Blood bay blinked at her simply.   ”...1….” He inhaled, and held it before letting the next number fall from his breath, ”...2…” He exhaled and with is the ground shook around them. Nymph called to the bones and corpses around them, not pulling them out of the Earth but disrupting the ground with their widely variant sizes. Of course, those around him didn’t know, to them it would feel like an earthquake. ”...You don’t want me to say 3.” He smirks a little, He really didn't want a battle but he always enjoyed playing with his toys.
