It’s purely his mind already being set on the, in his eyes, relatively small change - the idea of not having to work hours, days, for someone to start trusting him. The idea of picking and choosing his form, even if there was a limit between two forms.
The cold of the Mountain doesn’t hurt him, so it’s merely the walk upwards (and the prospect of going down again later) that is some sort of strain for the draft-baroque-like horse. But he’s used to it by now. He made his home in Hyaline out of necessity; a decency keeping him from going back to the Isle who’s leadership he had passed on, so as not to undermine his heir - and the need for a cold enough climate as well.
What would it be like to pose as a more normal horse, and not be so dependent on surroundings?
It’s a question unanswered so far, as the fae did not speak to him nor explicitly told him no. That’s why he keeps returning, he thinks. Or maybe it is about his mind being set already.
”Fairy,” he says because he knows that if any of them listens, it’s probably only one, so why call them, acting as if they all have any interest in him? He knows that they don’t, and doesn’t feel like they should. “I’ve returned to ask you the same question as before. I’d like to choose - I feel like a half-baked… well, I don’t really know what the finished product would be, honestly.”
He shrugs off the last remark - perhaps he should not care about the future, just live today. But at present it feels like tiptoeing some sort of thin line, which us why he came - and keeps coming. Will keep coming, if he won’t get an answer this time, just like the last two.
Looking around the mountain’s rocks, he wonders if anything will happen - or if they are trying to mock him with their silence, keep challenging him to say more. Offer more.
But he thinks it’s better to wait until they ask of something in return, than to go rambling to fairies who may not be in the mood to listen.

It’s me again - third time's the charm?(?)
I’d like to quest for frost dragon shifting! Dragon mimicry upgrade to dragon shifting, and that mutated with dragonice to a frosty version (so he’d be exchanging both traits for one 4-space).
Use of dragon mimicry (the teeth and scales are sort of, physical attributes so we mostly find his vision actively doing things - or him trying not to show his teeth all the time because he knows he’s scary looking for kids?)
