    Assailant -- Year 226

    QOTY

"But the dream, the echo, slips from him as quickly as he had found it and as consciousness comes to him (a slap and not the gentle waves of oceanic tides), it dissolves entirely. His muscles relax as the cold claims him again, as the numbness sets in, and when his grey eyes open, there’s nothing but the faint after burn of a dream often trod and never remembered." --Brigade, written by Laura

from the ashes we will rise - pangea meeting

She had been unaware of the fight, unaware of the carnage that had taken place and the changes it had brought. Yet, still, she arrived. The air held a strange feeling, and it was clear to her that this was not a meeting for a light chat. Cautiously, she stepped closer, ears pricked forward to listen closely to two that spoke. Her small heart sank as her eyes fell upon the shrouded body, and as she watched the rocks fall away to reveal the ever warmed dragon, she felt a small sting. Astra had only known him briefly as the strange horned being who asked her the cause of her height, but yet she was still saddened. A small part of her wished she had spoken to him more, to know the stories the dragon could tell before his fall.

As the small filly spoke up, her attention snapped towards her, listening curiously as she spoke as the voice of the fallen, a tiny spark of hope filling her as she mentioned her willingness to help. For now though, this all felt too confusing. The small, pale pegasus felt overwhelmed by all of this news, and the burial that had just taken place. How had she been so unaware of all of it? Shaking herself of the thoughts, she returned her attention to the meeting once more, waiting patiently.
One life with one dream on repeat

Astra is Very Confused but she's staying
