    COTY

    Assailant -- Year 226

    QOTY

"But the dream, the echo, slips from him as quickly as he had found it and as consciousness comes to him (a slap and not the gentle waves of oceanic tides), it dissolves entirely. His muscles relax as the cold claims him again, as the numbness sets in, and when his grey eyes open, there’s nothing but the faint after burn of a dream often trod and never remembered." --Brigade, written by Laura

    Beyza
When it was confirmed that they could stay here, Beyza had shamelessly used her magic to send a message to Livinia, telling her friend where she and the girls could be found. There was never a question of whether she should trust the grey mare, she did without even thinking about it. And if Livinia turned around and told Jamie where they were, that was something Beyza would deal with when the time came.

So she is not worried about it. Not when she had sent the message, not now when she starts smiling with a complete lack of surprise when she sees her friend walking towards her across the soft white beach.

Beyza glows softly where she stands in the shallow water, a full moon shining overhead and glinting off of the tropical water that looks black now but will shine a brilliant turquoise when the sun rises in a few hours.

    Everything is picturesque here.

It's softer, kinder, and there are no dark memories for Beyza here. It is a different life than she thought she was going to have, entirely different than what she thought she wanted, and for now the crystalline mare is going to focus on enjoying it.

She waits for Livinia to join her before commenting mildly “Just a little different than Pangea, isn’t it?”
