Either Llorona doesn’t hear what the colt-cub is saying, or she pretends not to. Regardless of that fact, she seems baffled by his black and white appearance. As if for good measure, the Elkear strike each other down in the chasm with extra force, the sound of a loud thunderclap breaking her silence.
