    Assailant -- Year 226

    QOTY

"But the dream, the echo, slips from him as quickly as he had found it and as consciousness comes to him (a slap and not the gentle waves of oceanic tides), it dissolves entirely. His muscles relax as the cold claims him again, as the numbness sets in, and when his grey eyes open, there’s nothing but the faint after burn of a dream often trod and never remembered." --Brigade, written by Laura

If I was you, I’d wanna be me too

The cliffs were what drew her to the ridge initially. The sudden drops and projecting stone meant good flying. Clary swooped across the boundary with wings spread. Each flap of the wing shoved air beneath her dainty frame. She flew with great elegance. After a simple twirl Clary landed. She had spotted multiple horses during her flight. Clearly there was a herd, and Clary wanted to momentarily join the ranks to simply show off her superior beauty.

The mare never experienced fear or shame. She never experienced anything but love and admiration. It was with her gift of empathic projection that Clary assured her place above everyone else. This land would be no different.

Though he's seen winged horses before, Njenyi has not yet developed a certain view toward them. They seem more bird than horse, and he watches as one soars overheard with clear fascination. He expects it to soar away eventually - as they all do - but it lands within the herd land.

The large stallion immediately goes to investigate, his dark eyes watchful and his black muzzle scenting the air carefully. When he's clsoe enough, he can tell it is a mare, and he rounds an outcropping of stone to see that its a buckskin with neatly folded black wings.

He doesn't say anything, just watches and waits. He is inclined to claim her as his own ,but he suspects that she will simply fly to places he cannot follow, so he holds back and watches from afar.

Clary stood with a straightened posture. A breeze blew past her, and she took the opportunity to position herself in its path and whip her head around. Her dark mane wove itself through the air and then curled around her neck. She exhaled a feminine giggle.

The black wings upon her back stretched their full length before they delicately folded once more. Clary had a feeling that someone was watching her. She set an coy smile upon her lips. "Yoo hop" She sang in her high pitch. "Who is out there?" She fluttered her eyelashes.
