    Assailant -- Year 226

    QOTY

"But the dream, the echo, slips from him as quickly as he had found it and as consciousness comes to him (a slap and not the gentle waves of oceanic tides), it dissolves entirely. His muscles relax as the cold claims him again, as the numbness sets in, and when his grey eyes open, there’s nothing but the faint after burn of a dream often trod and never remembered." --Brigade, written by Laura

as if a glass could contain the sea; sirana
    #4
To be fair, Sirana expected the stallion to get back at her for splashing him. She just didn't expect it to be worse than what she did.

Trying to hold back her laughs after soaking Warrick with the water she'd kicked up, Sirana failed to notice his retaliation. She did not notice the powerful horse rear up only to bring his front legs down and kick up more water than she had, busy as she was containing her laughs. She was startled back into the present when the cool water came down over her golden pelt, effectively soaking her through to the bone. It did wonders to relieve the humidity she'd been experiencing, and, while this play stuff was a bit juvenile, she couldn't help but let out a soft chuckle.

Despite being the one to start it, Sirana would have her revenge. Giving her head a shake to brush her forelock back out of her eyes, the mare hustled through the water to the bank in order to catch up to Warrick. Once she got to shallower waters, she let out a playful whinny, clearly intent on getting her revenge. She pranced toward the stallion, trying to get him to lower his guard, not wanting him to know what she had planned by getting close enough.
