    Assailant -- Year 226

    QOTY

"But the dream, the echo, slips from him as quickly as he had found it and as consciousness comes to him (a slap and not the gentle waves of oceanic tides), it dissolves entirely. His muscles relax as the cold claims him again, as the numbness sets in, and when his grey eyes open, there’s nothing but the faint after burn of a dream often trod and never remembered." --Brigade, written by Laura

The woman had heard whispers of Reagan....a great-grandmother somewhere in the lines, was in Tephra. The porcelain woman tries to stir the memories of a meeting or more but she can not place a time . Had she really blocked it all out, shunned them? The shrug of her pretty shoulders roll as the dark pointed woman goes to press against the hind end of the yearling girl that still trailed with her.

Dark like her father with turquoise hair and feathered wings. Gunvor was truly a beautiful sight to any eye and Epi knew one day the girl would be trouble for she was a product of madness but the woman would deal with it all in time.

To keep in time with the changing season, Epithet adorns herself in a lovely pale orange dun with brown and red and gold twining through her mane, braiding neatly down the curve of her neck. Cinnamon spice brown marks the tapers lips and stockings of her hooves.

She is mother autumn with an inky filly sulking after her, the turquoise glinting under the chilly gray skies. Epithet throws a furrowed brow look to her youngest daughter and the girl steps up the pace to meet her mothers walk. Occasionally Epithet leans over, talking about the lands and Gunvor half listens as she looks at her surroundings, lifting erh shimmering wings with the childish irritation of a young girl. Eventually Epithet gives up with a huff and almost wishes herself to a Canadian goose, honking annoyingly in her daughter's ear but Epi reminds herself to be the bigger person and falls quiet as they approach the boarders of Tephra.
