    COTY

    Assailant -- Year 226

    QOTY

"But the dream, the echo, slips from him as quickly as he had found it and as consciousness comes to him (a slap and not the gentle waves of oceanic tides), it dissolves entirely. His muscles relax as the cold claims him again, as the numbness sets in, and when his grey eyes open, there’s nothing but the faint after burn of a dream often trod and never remembered." --Brigade, written by Laura

His gaze trailed away from the field, settling on the forests edge. Home. Safety. He had told her to much, even if she hadn't of picked up on it. Which in all honesty, annoyed him just a bit. Would you like to see my home in the forest? he asks ignoring her questions all together. He was growing tired of being in his mortal form, he needed cover to escape to his place of comfort. She was nieve now but he would change that, or so he planned. She was nice enough, but Kha had grown some what callous in his loneliness.

She inquired about his time in the world, but he ignores her question completely, perhaps even growing a bit annoyed with her. She tilts her head for a brief moment, confused as to why he would avoid her inquiry. She was a curious girl, but much too shy to confront or inquire the same question twice.

Instead she forces a smile on her face when he asks if she wants to see his home in the forest. She nods her head in response, Uhm...okay sure, again she forces the smile on her maw She follows him as the walk, picturing all the possibilities of his home. She wondered if he lived deep in the forest, or if it was well sheltered, or if he just had settled into his 'home'.
