The golden coloured mare is still, her body fighting the river's current as she remains silent, her eyes closed and mind vibrant as she reflects. She had spent a while thinking about what she had done, the murder she had attempted to commit, the friendship she had lost. Just when she thought she was ready to return, a simple instinct had driven her back into the water, to hide once again.
Tasi breaches from the surface of the streaming river, grasping the air with her lungs as her legs grip to the river bed. She lets out a deep swell of air as she emerges from the river, her long and clean tail now bloodied by the ground she walks on.
The mare looks into the sky, another heavy breath escaping her lungs as she watches the greenery above her sway against the piercing blue sky, she closes her eyes again, a soreness in her throat as her head sways back down toward the earth, a type of guilt she could not describe throbbing in her eyes.
Though the mare's attention snaps back when she hears a familiar voice, awake again as she finds herself moving toward who could only be Valera, somehow sure that it was her she was speaking to.
"Valera" she whispers as she walks, her words lost on the familiar breeze that whisks through the forest, leading Tasi straight to her.
She pauses once the mare comes into view, standing behind a tree, only half of her body visible. Though to her surprise, she does not feel as nervous as she usually does when meeting another, this time she felt her body pulling her toward Valera, longing to speak with her again.
Her face suddenly feels warm as she approaches from behind, her legs softly trailing along the forest floor "Valera" she says faintly as she halts.
She watches as the mare turns around, observing her colours and admiring her charming expression.
"You called?"
Tasi
