    COTY

    Assailant -- Year 226

    QOTY

"But the dream, the echo, slips from him as quickly as he had found it and as consciousness comes to him (a slap and not the gentle waves of oceanic tides), it dissolves entirely. His muscles relax as the cold claims him again, as the numbness sets in, and when his grey eyes open, there’s nothing but the faint after burn of a dream often trod and never remembered." --Brigade, written by Laura

    The stomping lands: Any!
    #1

Visiting Nerine and leaving the climate that he had been brought up in on the icicle isle felt quite unusual, his thick hide and fur quite obviously not very well equipped for the warmer weather.
He had also grown quite a lot in size since he had first arrived on the frozen island, he had gotten significantly taller, his hide was now thicker and his tusks longer and larger than ever, which posed as a blessing on the frozen island, allowing him to break ice and uncover grass under thick snow.
It also however created quite the nuisance away from the island, making it a lot harder to navigate hilly terrain or densely forested areas, often causing him to get stuck or have to barge his way through forests.

The young stallion knows quite well that visiting unannounced could be considered as rude, and so he emits a low growl that sounds as if similar to an elephant, but not quite there.
Though as he stands he decides to explore the coast, just circling the border and having a look before he properly arrives.

While visiting Nerine he tries to stick to more open areas, now exploring the coast, observing the tremendous cliffs and crags slowly carved by the ocean, creating impressive shapes and caves that also cast weird and wonderful shadows onto the sand.

The hum of the ocean and waves crashing into the rocky surfaces create a spectacular orchestra of noise, from the low tones of the autumn breeze whizzing around the outcrops of rock, leaving signature orange and yellow leaves behind, to the thunder-like crash of waves as they carve their way into the rock.
The sight is wonderful and he spends no time waiting to explore, excited to take all the sights in while he waits for someone to arrive on the border.

    Eurwen
the secret of walking on water
is knowing where the rocks lie
The vastness of Nerine had never before felt empty to Eurwen, nor had she ever bothered with the cold. Today she walks through the kingdom which is her home, her coat thickened for the coming winter, northbound although she doesn’t truly bother with where she is moving towards in the moment.

It is when she feels the disturbance in the rocky ground, the tremors of someone very large, that she truly looks up. North - she’s gone north towards Icicle Isle. She smiles a little, remembering her time as a small filly up there with her family being whole - her mother and father, her twin sister, her younger brothers.

Yet now, her attention is drawn to the large… animal? Horse? Making his way along the cliffs. She squints her eyes at his physique, then decides to approach anyway. His enlarged roan body and the silvering in his mane, tail and lower legs are interesting to her in a vague familiar way; still, she keeps her distance when she calls out to him.

After all, he’s still so many times bigger than she, and probably could be dangerous with those tusks.

@[Intoxication] say hi to auntie Wenny!
