Icicle Isle
it's only too cold when you're standing still
Midsommarsummer solstice festival |
INVITATION
Not much can be seen inside; the portal itself looks relatively dark, but swirls of colored light can be seen, as well as snowflakes that look a bit like stars on a clear night. For those who have been that far north, it looks exactly like Icicle Isle’s brilliant night sky, complete with the Northern Lights. The light inside is inviting, and those who brave the portal soon arrive on a field with short tundra grass, interrupted with dark grey and black granite, and frequent patches of icelandic moss.
The sound of preparations of festivities can be heard, and looking around, one can see why. To the west, the once burned forest is decorated with what looks like small white flowers and patches of ice, a track that can be followed for the curious. To the east, the field that you have arrived in is relatively empty, but farther away ice glistens in the morning sun like a mirror. To the north, space has been cleared for what seems to be some sort of tournament or games.
Wherever you decide to head, you and all who come with you, are invited to discover the wonders of the coldest island in Beqanna; it’s secrets today are for you to find out.
