    COTY

    Assailant -- Year 226

    QOTY

"But the dream, the echo, slips from him as quickly as he had found it and as consciousness comes to him (a slap and not the gentle waves of oceanic tides), it dissolves entirely. His muscles relax as the cold claims him again, as the numbness sets in, and when his grey eyes open, there’s nothing but the faint after burn of a dream often trod and never remembered." --Brigade, written by Laura

Burn If You Must, Rise From The Ashes
    #11
The young mare stood there, her ears perked up as she intently listened to Doctor's words. He had always been there for her, and she trusted his advice more than anyone else's. His words carried immense weight, and she could feel her heart being filled with a sense of purpose, as he made some valid points about helping others in need.

She had always been driven by a desire to help those around her, and she knew that Doctor shared the same values. As they walked towards the river, she followed him closely, lost in thought. The sound of the water rushing past them was soothing, and she felt herself getting lost in the moment.

It was then that Doctor turned to her and complimented her on her good heart. A small smile crept up on her face, and she felt a sense of pride knowing that her intentions were pure. Despite all the hardships she had faced, she had never let bitterness or coldness take over her. She always tried to remain upbeat and optimistic, and it was something that Doctor had always admired about her.

As they waded into the river, she felt a sense of gratitude wash over her. She watched Doctor closely, taking in every movement of his as he waded through the water. She felt a deep connection to him, and she knew that she owed him everything. She nuzzled him gently, feeling a sense of comfort and safety in his presence.

As they stood there, she couldn't help but think of Doctor as a hero. He had always been there for her, and she knew that he would continue to be there for her in the future. With a sense of gratitude in her heart, she whispered to him, "Thank you for being my hero."
