    COTY

    Assailant -- Year 226

    QOTY

"But the dream, the echo, slips from him as quickly as he had found it and as consciousness comes to him (a slap and not the gentle waves of oceanic tides), it dissolves entirely. His muscles relax as the cold claims him again, as the numbness sets in, and when his grey eyes open, there’s nothing but the faint after burn of a dream often trod and never remembered." --Brigade, written by Laura

Teak had faded into the background for a while now. Not like there was much to do anyways. She was keeping an eye out in the feild, but by the time her slow poke butt made its way towards a new comer; she found that another Amazonian would beat her to it. Their kingdom being as lively and active as it is, the mares swarm around Beqanna with a vengence. She remembered the last meeting very clearly. She had been instructed to stay behind. To say that her pride was cut down by that was an understatement. Since then the Zebra had been skulking around the brushtrying her best to find the Jungle spirit and find out why exactly she was being rejected. Now most would probably call this selfish but a moment for ones self now and then never hurt anyone. It took her a while to give up on recieving her answers finally understanding that she was just one of many in a swarm. Here she would never stand out, here she was not needed. Not in the least. So she took off, finding in the meadow her child. Almost as if fate is mocking her.

Maybe it is simply redirrecting her. So here she is once more looking for a new home, one that would need her, one that would welcome her and bath her in the lavish attentions that made her so special. She wanted to sidle up to all the mares and have them know exactly who she was. She wanted to stand in the crowd and have whispers floating around about her.

If this was the accomplishment then she was bound to succeed. But appearantly even a queen gets jealious. That must have been why, the Amazonian didn't want to be out shone. After all the mare had welcomed her exactly for this reason. But maybe, just maybe, she was afraid of what the Zebra could do should she go and service the kingdom just as she wanted.

Well that lightened her mood, lightened it enough for her to hold her head high, and trot her curvy hips to the nearest horse. Leaning into the creature she sneaks a golden eyed smile for them "Hello"
