    Assailant -- Year 226

    QOTY

"But the dream, the echo, slips from him as quickly as he had found it and as consciousness comes to him (a slap and not the gentle waves of oceanic tides), it dissolves entirely. His muscles relax as the cold claims him again, as the numbness sets in, and when his grey eyes open, there’s nothing but the faint after burn of a dream often trod and never remembered." --Brigade, written by Laura

    ASHARA

Trees sprouting new growth and blossoms, emerald floor expanding to fill bare spots and stretching to meet the sun, spotted with wildflowers, were evidence of spring. The scent of sugar seeping from the avocado coloured grass was a temptation hard to resist. But green headed to gold in a clearing ahead. The golden vixen, looking a little rough with patches of winter hair still shedding, had taken the route between the empty Fall’s herd lands to the Golden Plains where a highly trafficked area near the foal’s playground and adoption residence was found. The worn path most likely from patrols and trips to the field. The scent of Phaedrus was strong. The mare turned her head so both amber eyes looked at Sorea. “I think we’re here.” She said with a smile. Looking to Ygritte for confirmation. It had been a while since the queen and Ashara spent much time together, it was a great opportunity to do so. She couldn’t help but feel excited for the new adventure. Just beyond the Golden Plains was the kingdom of the Dale, perhaps they could carry through afterwards and talk politics. But before she could get ahead of herself there was the task at hand, the one that brought three mares to another herd land. To fulfill her promise to the dark winged stallion, and escort the mare that had agreed to join his herd and the kingdom of the Falls.

Sorea followed only a step behind Ashara, her heart slightly heavy about what may lay before her. With any luck, Pheadron (as she understood it) would let her stay in the Falls, after learning how much her heart had bonded to the place in her short time there. When Ashara turned her head to speak, Sorea was secretly glad she was so mindful of her defect.

In response to "I think we're here," Sorea gave a determined snort. Certainly, they did not seem to be in the Falls any longer, but a new land.

For the sake of keeping my character in one place and being able to play her, I'm going to close this thread. Phaedrus (Tiny), if you still want Sorea to be part of your herd, you'll have to come get her in the Falls. We made an honest attempt to return her to you Smile
