    Assailant -- Year 226

    QOTY

"But the dream, the echo, slips from him as quickly as he had found it and as consciousness comes to him (a slap and not the gentle waves of oceanic tides), it dissolves entirely. His muscles relax as the cold claims him again, as the numbness sets in, and when his grey eyes open, there’s nothing but the faint after burn of a dream often trod and never remembered." --Brigade, written by Laura

FORGIVENESS IS A CONCERN FOR THE LIVING.

The stallion raised his hind right leg to itch his stomach, slowly lowering it as he listened to the mare. He understood, stallions often times only wanted to spread there kin, careless to meet them so long as the deed has been accomplished. His gaze traveled, resting on her as she asked if the stallions fought in the kingdom. He was slightly confused as to what she meant, of course equines disagree sometimes and surely the fought from time to time. But in the kingdom all the equines should have the same goal, and remain some what neutral with each other. "There are mock battles, were the warriors train, and test there skills" this was so the army could grow stronger, and learn to block when a real issue would arise. He wasn't in the kingdom long enough to know how the others got along, but as far as he has observed they were all pretty peaceful; minus the few conversations of word sharing.

Fade kicked out as something bit her leg. She nodded as she listened to him speak. "Okay, I see." She said, figuring the peaceful side would be fine. Not seeing any mares yet, she realised that she would have to learn to get along with the others, something she wasn't quite good at. Knowing she could only avoid snarky horses for so long before hooves and teeth got involved.

Fade rubbed her head against a tree, scratching it. "What are your plans, for the next year or so?" She asked, removing her head from the bark. She was getting ancy, ready for morning. Her long neck extended forward in a stretch, her back sunk in, and her tail raised almost like an Arabian's tail.

Arthas stretched out his neck, shaking his whole body, dust flew off as the horse hadn't been in water for a while. He turned to glance at the moon that was still bright and high in the sky. He wondered where the other kingdom equines were, it was a pretty active kingdom, so it was odd no one was around.  His attention turned back to the mare as she asked what his plans for the year were. The stallion gave a shrug truly unsure as to what his plans were "I'm not fully sure, my main focus is to rise in the ranks of the army" he spoke truthfully. His heart lied with the kingdom, he wanted to be something, because his original home wouldn't let him. His life would be totally different had he been the first born, he would still be in his herd lands. Alas he was not, and found himself here today ready to prove his worth. Of course the stag wouldn't mind a kin this breeding season, it was only a natural occurrence.

She nodded, her eyes flashing up to meet his. She lifted her front leg up, ready to walk. Fade stopped, realizing she had no where to go. Her hoof dropped to the ground. "Okay." She nickered.

"The ranks seem important to you.". She mumbled, pondering the though of being queen.
